26.03.2018 Textile industry suppliers bet to go on investing in new technologies, improving its production processes and turning themselves more competitive

The next April 10 starts a new edition of Emitex, Simatex, and Confemaq, the exhibitions gather the whole value chain of the textile and garment industry, from yarn to clothing production.

During four days, the companies show all their news in products and services, take advantage to launch products, generate contacts and create loyalty. And many of them also expect this opportunity given by this shop window to do important investment announcements.

This is the case of Textil Iberá, which presents its new Tintorería de Hilados. Its Director, Pablo Yeramian, says: “This investment allows us to offer a wide variety of dyed yarns to manufacturers and widen the knitted fabrics offer as, for example, 100% cotton striped cloths. This way, we guarantee a full control on the production processes.” It is worth mentioning that Textil Iberá doubled its weaving capacity in the last years, and certified its quality control system with the new ISO 9001:2015.

From Textil Digital, they estimate a 20% growth for 2018. “For this reason, we have acquired the fourth MS jp4 printer, which we will present in this exhibition”, states its President, Luis Millaner. The company also has a strong commitment with the environment care, thus it is finishing the construction of a paper recycling plant that will be working during the third quarter of this year. “With this we will be able to recycle 80 paper tons per month”, adds Millaner.

Mass Metal is a company that bets to open new markets abroad, starting by Latin America. Besides, they are diversifying their production to capture new markets: “one of our aims is to develop local customers of the wine sector that is currently using metal overlays as signs for their premium lines", tells Marcos Viggiano, Managing Partner of the firm.

Telas Datex also says it made a great investment in trending yarns and weaves. “This expansion make us need more qualified people to carry out new tasks and open a second store", adds Darío Sanchez, salesman of the company.

A platform to the market

Exhibitors tell their reasons to take part of it and the expectations they have in relation to the new 2018 edition.

La Casa del Arte Gráfico entered the textile world in the 2017 edition of Emitex. The success of this action prompted us to come back, redoubling the bet and doubling our booth area to reach the audience with more equipment, more consumables and counseling customized to each customer scale and needs", says Hernán Sánchez, Operation and Marketing Manager of the graphic solutions firm.

Even international companies such as Soutex Têxtil (Brazil) come to Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq seeking an entrance door to the South American market. “We believe that taking part in the exhibition will help us to present our products and, besides, it will be a great opportunity to start a sound association between the two countries", states its Director, Neverli Soares.

Meanwhile, from Yitai América they ensure that “taking part in this event is important to make the company more competitive, in an increasingly demanding market”, according to its General Manager, Marcelo Guedella.

The next edition of Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq, Fashion + Technology, from yarn to apparel, will take place on April 10 - 13, 2018 in Centro Costa Salguero, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
