Under the slogan Fashion+Technology from yarn to clothing, Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq once again bring together the entire value chain of the textile and clothing sector, from Monday May 30 to Thursday June 2. As in every edition, the companies present all their news in products and services, carry out launches, generate contacts and build customer loyalty. And many of them also await the opportunity that this window gives them to make important investment announcements.

At Emitex, there is a digital printing area, with machinery that is revolutionizing the market, and a large number of national fabric manufacturers for planning the next fashion collections. Meanwhile, at Confemaq visitors will learn about world news in cutting, sewing and embroidery equipment. When visiting Simatex, the International Trade Fair of Textile Machinery, visitors will be able to see equipment for manufacturing and finishing all kinds of yarns and fabrics.

During the opening ceremony, the Project Manager of the exhibition, Andrea Lippi, said: “This is the 20th edition of the exhibition and for me it is a dream that we could make come true. I am proud to belong to this industry, I always believed that through this medium we positioned the sector and gave it the value it deserves. Meeting again after four years, with this amount of machinery and demonstrating the investment of the sector, marks the strength of this industry. The textile industry is worth it and we must defend it against all odds”.

On his part, the President of Messe Frankfurt Argentina, Fernando Gorbarán, stated: “After four years, we meet again at Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq. It is an industry that provides added value to the country, which is transcendental when it comes to generating jobs, which are so needed. Today we have a sustainable textile industry, which we at Messe Frankfurt support and have a global commitment to as we joined the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. We invite you to visit the fair to meet again with friends, customers, colleagues and live again this industry”.

On his part, the President of CAME, Alfredo González, took up the words of Andrea Lippi and remarked: “All ventures in Argentina begin with a dream, a project and its execution. The fact that 90% of the exhibiting companies are from national industry shows the importance of generating genuine work that spreads throughout the interior of the country. It is gratifying for us to be able to support all the companies that are here and the colleague chambers".

On his turn, the President of the Pro Tejer Foundation, Luciano Galfione, expressed: “The textile industry is one of the most federal industries of Argentina, with a presence in 17 provinces. For us, it is a great joy to get back together and with good news: this is one of the years of greatest investment; in the first three months of 2022 more than 60 million dollars in capital goods have already been exported. This year is going to be a record for machine exports, which means more technology, more productivity, better products, more offers, and more quality Argentine work for our young people and business professionals, and this should fill us with pride. Let’s defend our industry”.

In this unique space, visitors will be able to meet new suppliers, meet face to face with their colleagues, generate new business and be able to see the most modern international equipment in operation.

Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq, Fashion + Technology, is carried out from May 30 to June 2, 2022 in Centro Costa Salguero of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
