Record number of exhibitors and visitors at the closing of Emitex 2025

10 Apr 2025

Buenos Aires, April 2025.- The International Trade Fair of Suppliers for the Garment Industry was attended by 102 exhibitors and more than 9,000 visitors, who packed the halls of La Rural Trade Center of Buenos Aires over the course of three days in search of innovations, trends, and new business opportunities.

Once again, Emitex 2025 was the meeting point for the textile industry, the ideal setting for garment manufacturers to access all the suppliers in the sector and obtain information and contacts for their collections. In an area of 8,000 sqm - which grew by 37% compared to the last edition in 2023 - the latest developments in fibers, yarns, fabrics, accessories and printing and digital sublimation machines, among others, were exhibited.

The Project Manager of the exhibition, Andrea Lippi, referred to the great turnout that this edition had: "Exhibitions such as Emitex become a great business center that drives the industry, where exhibitors and visitors meet and new links, ideas and projects emerge together. Within these events, the textile industry displays all its novelties. It allows us to anticipate what will happen in the next edition in 2026 together with Simatex and Confemaq," she added.

Trends, innovation and sustainability, the three central themes

The Trend Hub was one of the most popular proposals of this edition. Curated by Maru Silva and Pía Kelly from SUDA, a selection of five fabric universes with the trends of the summer 2025/2026 season was presented. Each day, visitors were guided through the Trend Hub, where they could gather inspiration, insights, and ideas for their upcoming collections.

Another highlight was the Design Point, which featured four textile designers: Ayelén Carrete, Bruma, Inés Larralde, and Moca Textil, who showcased their exclusive prints over the three days of the exhibition.
